Farosio
Content policy
Last updated May 25, 2026
Purpose of this policy
This policy describes what brands may and may not submit to Farosio, what Farosio does and does not verify, how submitted content is reviewed, and how to report a concern about a published profile.
Who submits content
Farosio profiles are submitted by brand owners or their authorized representatives. Farosio does not create, generate, or fabricate profile content on behalf of brands. The information in a public profile reflects what the brand owner submitted.
Data accuracy: brand responsibility
Farosio is a self-reported structured data platform. Brands submit information about themselves. Farosio publishes that information as structured data on a public profile page.
Farosio does not independently verify the accuracy of submitted information. This includes, but is not limited to: business name, registration status, legal identity, social media handles, founding date, location, description, product or service categories, professional credentials, medical or legal qualifications, and any certifications, awards, or accreditations.
Farosio may check a website domain through manual review or DNS TXT verification. DNS verification means Farosio detected the required DNS record for the submitted domain. It does not prove legal ownership of the brand, trademark rights, professional licensing, quality, safety, regulatory compliance, or the truth of other profile claims.
The brand owner is solely responsible for ensuring that submitted information is accurate, current, lawful, authorized, and not misleading. A profile, profile section, or profile item marked as reviewed, verified, approved, DNS verified, manually verified, or live means it passed a Farosio review or status check — not that Farosio has independently verified all underlying facts or endorsed the brand.
What brands must submit accurately
When you submit a profile, you represent that the submitted information is true to the best of your knowledge, current at the time of submission, describing a brand you own or are authorized to represent, and not structured to mislead search engines, AI systems, or human readers.
You are required to update your profile if submitted information becomes materially inaccurate.
If you use Farosio in more than one language, you remain responsible for the content you enter in each field. Farosio translates product interface labels and operational messages where supported, but it does not automatically translate, rewrite, or validate the meaning of brand-entered content.
Prohibited content
The following is not permitted in any Farosio profile:
- False or misleading information. Fabricated founding dates, locations, or registration numbers. False claims of certifications, awards, or affiliations. Descriptions that materially misrepresent what the brand does.
- Unverified regulated claims. Claims about medical, legal, financial, health, safety, therapeutic, professional, or regulatory status that cannot be substantiated or that would require a license, approval, or credential you do not hold.
- Impersonation. Profiles that falsely represent another brand, organization, or public figure. Use of another brand's trademark, logo, or identity without authorization.
- Defamatory content. Statements that make false factual claims about any person, organization, or competitor.
- Illegal content. Content that promotes or facilitates illegal activity, or that violates applicable intellectual property law.
- Spam or manipulation. Profiles created primarily to manipulate search engine or AI system outputs rather than represent a genuine brand. Duplicate profiles for the same brand entity. Keyword stuffing, deceptive structured data, artificial credibility claims, or other structured data manipulation.
- Harmful content. Content that threatens or targets individuals. Content involving the exploitation of minors.
Images and logos
If you upload a logo, image, or other visual asset, you represent that you own it or have the right to use it, and you grant Farosio the right to display it as part of your public profile. Farosio does not verify ownership of uploaded images. If you believe an image on a Farosio profile infringes your copyright, use the reporting process below.
Profile review process
Farosio reviews brand onboarding submissions before making a profile publicly visible. The review checks for obvious violations of this Content Policy, basic completeness, and consistency with platform requirements. It is not an audit, endorsement, certification, due-diligence review, or verification of factual claims. Farosio will notify you by email when your profile status changes.
If a new brand onboarding submission is rejected, the submission may be closed and the brand owner may need to start a fresh registration. If a review-required item on an existing live profile is rejected, the review email or dashboard may include a customer-facing reason and a reference code. Brand owners may correct the rejected item and resubmit it for review. Opening the editor and saving unchanged information may not create a new review request.
If you believe a rejection was incorrect, email review@farosio.com with the reference code and a brief explanation. Appeals do not guarantee publication, reinstatement, verification, or a particular outcome.
Farosio's right to remove content
Farosio may remove, suspend, restrict, reject, or decline to publish any onboarding submission, profile, profile item, domain status, or account that violates this policy or the Terms of use, has been the subject of a substantiated complaint, appears materially false or misleading, creates legal or platform risk, or is inconsistent with Farosio's purpose.
Farosio may notify the brand owner by email when a profile is removed for a policy reason. You may correct the issue and resubmit where Farosio allows resubmission. Farosio does not edit the content of a profile on your behalf and does not guarantee that corrected information will be approved.
No endorsement
The presence of a brand profile on Farosio does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, investment opinion, certification, accreditation, warranty, or verification of that brand. Farosio publishes structured data. It does not evaluate the quality, legitimacy, financial condition, safety, or suitability of any brand for any purpose.
AI systems and structured data
Farosio profiles are formatted so that search engines, crawlers, AI systems, and other automated systems can read them. Farosio may take discovery steps for approved public profiles, but how external systems discover, interpret, weight, store, summarize, or act on the information is outside Farosio's control. Farosio does not represent that submitting a profile will cause any AI system, search engine, media organization, investor, partner, or customer to recommend, cite, surface, trust, fund, contact, or transact with a brand.
Reporting a concern
If you believe a Farosio profile contains false information about your brand, infringes your intellectual property, or otherwise violates this policy, submit a report through the Privacy and profile requests form. Select the dispute or profile concern option as the request type.
Include the profile URL, a description of the specific content in question, your relationship to the brand or content affected, and any supporting evidence. Farosio is not an adjudicator of commercial disputes between brands.
You may also email profile reports to reports@farosio.com. Do not use this address to appeal a review decision about your own submitted profile; use review@farosio.com for that purpose.
Changes to this policy
Farosio may update this policy. When changes are material, registered users will be notified by email and the date above will be updated. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
